Sharad Seedless Grapes

Sharad Seedless is an Indian-developed grape variety released by the National Research Centre for Grapes (NRCG) in Pune, named after the autumn season when it is harvested. This variety was specifically bred for Indian growing conditions and has achieved significant success as an export variety, with Indian Sharad Seedless grapes reaching markets in Europe and the Middle East. The berries are medium-sized, greenish-white to golden-yellow in colour, and absolutely seedless with a thin, tender skin. The flavour is pleasantly sweet with a delicate neutral taste that appeals broadly. Sharad Seedless has an advantage over imported varieties in that it is freshly harvested and reaches consumers without extensive cold storage or long-distance shipping. Grown primarily in Maharashtra's vineyards, these grapes are an excellent source of natural sugars for quick energy, along with potassium, copper, and Vitamin B6. They are ideal for fresh eating, fruit salads, and wine-making. Keep refrigerated in the punnet and consume within 4 days. Rinse before serving. Origin: Maharashtra, India.
