Black Muscat Grapes

Black Muscat grapes are a prized dark variety renowned for their intensely sweet, almost jam-like flavour with distinctive musky, floral notes that are the hallmark of all Muscat-family grapes. The deep purple-black skin of these grapes is packed with anthocyanins, resveratrol, and proanthocyanidins — a trio of potent antioxidants that collectively support cardiovascular health, reduce inflammation, and protect cells from oxidative damage. Black Muscat grapes are larger and plumper than Thompson Seedless, with a juicy, tender flesh that practically melts in the mouth. They may contain soft edible seeds. Grown in the vineyards of Nashik and Pune districts of Maharashtra, Black Muscat grapes benefit from the same terroir that produces India's finest wines. The thick, richly pigmented skin makes these grapes superior for making red grape juice, jam, and jelly.
