Grape Tomatoes

Grape tomatoes are an elongated, oval variety similar in appearance to miniature Roma tomatoes, distinguished from round cherry tomatoes by their firmer, meatier flesh and lower water content, which concentrates their sweet-tangy flavour. The thicker skin makes grape tomatoes significantly more durable than cherry tomatoes, resisting splitting and lasting longer in the refrigerator without shrivelling. This durability makes them a favourite in restaurant kitchens and premium grocery retail. Grape tomatoes have less liquid and fewer seeds per volume than cherry tomatoes, making them ideal for pasta sauces where a thick, clingy consistency is desired rather than a watery one. They are also perfect for kebabs and grill plates as they stay intact on skewers. These grape tomatoes are grown in poly houses in Maharashtra and Himachal Pradesh under precision agriculture techniques. Rich in lycopene, Vitamin C, and Vitamin A, they support eye health, skin health, and immune function. Store at room temperature for 5–7 days or refrigerate in the punnet for up to 10 days.
